David Scott Crawford has been entertaining patrons at The Redhead Piano Bar every Friday since March of 2001. His repertoire includes a wide variety of favorites including: Sinatra, The Beatles, Elton John, Jerry Lee Lewis, Billy Joel, James Taylor and much more. His style includes flavors of blues, rock n' roll, jazz, classical and country music....everything from Van Morrison to Gerswin.
Crawford grew up living in various countries around the world including Australia, North Africa, Great Britain and South America. He began playing piano and composing songs at the age of 13, studied classical piano while living in London as a teenager, and also studied jazz piano in Chicago. He also toured with Blues/R & B legend Otis Clay.
David is pleased to announce his new album "Belle Epoque", a compilation of all original songs, scheduled for release in the Fall of 2006. The album includes David on vocals and piano, and has contributions from string arranger Paul Buckmaster, keyboardist/arranger David Hentschel, and many other fine musicians. The album was recorded in Chicago, England and Los Angeles, and was mastered at Abbey Road Studios in London. Don't miss it!
